2 Nigerian men arrested in Haiti for impersonation

Two Nigerian men are currently being held by the authorities in Haiti for possession of fake Haitian National Identification Cards.

The men, Madukanze Kenneth, 31, and Henry Peter, 29, were arrested on Sunday, August 18, in Jacmel, Haiti.

Madukanze Kenneth was arrested by law enforcement for being in possession of a Haitian National Identification Card in the name of Augustin Jerry.

Henry Peter, in turn, was found with a fake national identification card bearing Junior Jean Pierre, according to IciHaiti.

The arrests were made by the South East Police Department in Haiti, which posted the news on social media with the pictures of the suspects.

The police promised to continue to work “tirelessly” to apprehend lawbreakers and maintain public order.
