A 20-year-old student of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Okene, Kogi State, Suleiman Rahma Onono, has been found dead, with parts of her body reportedly missing.
Onono was declared missing two Saturdays ago, prompting security operatives to begin investigations into her disappearance.
Her death has thrown the institution and surrounding community into mourning.
Her disappearance had triggered anxiety among students, staff, family members and friends, who made several efforts to locate her, but her whereabouts remained unknown until the grim discovery.
She was described by those who knew her as a dedicated and committed student, with tributes and condolences continuing to pour in from within and outside the college.
