2021 budget will reinforce Eredo LCDA’s achievements – Chairman

Mr. Adeniyi Saliu, Chairman, Eredo Local Council Development Area, Epe Division, says the 2021 budget will reinforce and build on the accomplishments of his administration.

Saliu said this at a two-day retreat tagged: “Budget of Consolidation”, held in Eredo, Epe division on Thursday.

He said that his administration would continue to execute more projects and programmes that would have direct bearing on the people of the community.

“We will not shift our focus for anything, not even politics,’’ the chairman said.

He commended the professionalism demonstrated by the management and staff of the council.

Delivering a paper, Mr. Tunde Badejo, a Revenue Consultant from Lagos State Public Service advised participants on work ethics, financial control, equity and inclusiveness in distribution of public amenities across the council.

Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara in Epe Division, urged revenue officers to be diligent in delivery of their duties, especially on revenue generation.

Earlier, Mrs. Toyin Sonaike, the Council’s Manager, commended the chairman for his vision, dexterity and execution of programmes aimed at making life meaningful for the people.

She also commended the management staff of the council for their support thus far, saying that the retreat was a purposeful one. (NAN)
