A former Secretary to the Government of the Federation [SGF], Senator Anyim Pius Anyim has, on Saturday, picked the forty million Naira presidential nomination forms of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in preparation of the 2023 general election.
Senator Anyim is one of the high ranking politicians from the South East region who insists that it is the turn of the geo-political zone to produce the next president of Nigeria.

Earlier in the day, it was the Minister of Labour and Employment and former Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige, who arrived the venue of the National Convention ground of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with a capacity convoy of a presidential aspirant.
The move heightened speculations that he may soon declare interest to contest the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the ruling party.
