2023: I believe in Peter Obi’s prowess, competence — Activist Paul

Human rights activist and author, comrade Paul Njoku says, he believe in the prowess, competence and capacity of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

According to Njoku, the former governor of Anambra State appears to be an answer to the problem of Nigeria.

He said, “It is getting obvious by day that the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is the heartbeat and economic emissary to millions of Nigerians who are arguably the citadel of the structure across the nation.

“I have argued the tenacity of regional structure which to me remains a prevailing and conventional factor to winning Presidential elections in Nigeria.

“However, I believe in Obi’s prowess, competence and capacity. I stand for justice, fairness and equity. I utterly doubt the conduct, professionalism and fidelity expected of the ruling party, INEC and security agents at the poll to ensure objectivity, free, fair and credible election.

“The leader of Peter Obi media team is my good friend amongst others. They are not deadly in their campaign mechanisms hence the peaceful Obidient souls. Unfortunately, propagandists seek to malign Obi’s movement which to me is unfair and unacceptable.

“I can be corrected that Obi’s supporters don’t bear arms. They are not animals.

“They are Obidiently civil. “We no dey give shishi” is a Nigeria movement for deliverance. We know those who bear arms in Lagos. We know the jihadists, terrorist sympathisers, evil xenophobians and haters of good governance.

“We know those unproductive and incompetent politicians. We know what they do and what their long – time aspirations represent.

“We know how they prevented the Igbo not to register and get their PVCs in Lagos. We know how Ambode was kicked out and how Sanwolu violently came in.

“We know the crusaders of Muslim-Muslim ticket and apostles of silly campaigns. We know the anti-restructuring haramists.

“We know the ‘king’ who threatened death to all the Igbo in Lagos.

“We know the causes of their jealousy, insomnia and nightmare. We know what they told Gowon that caused him reneged the Aburi – Accord agreement.

“We know how they sabotaged the Igbo during the Nigeria/Biafra civil war. We know what Ojukwu and Zik stood for. We know the history and we have studied the history with utmost interest.

“Their plans for another level of continued terror government will fail.”
