The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi has been declared the winner of the contest in Ebonyi State.
The All Progressive Congress(APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu came second while the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar placed third.
The results were announced at the Ebonyi Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in Abakaliki, the capital of the State on Tuesday.
The Collation Officer for Ebonyi State, Prof Charles Igwe, who is the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria (UNN) announced the final results.
He said Obi garnered 259738 while Tinubu got 42402 votes and Atiku scored 13503 votes.
