The COPDEM People’s Parliament is set to host another powerful edition of its widely respected national conversation on Monday, May 26, 2025.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), a UK-based media outlet with active operations in Nigeria, will beam the event live through its television channel.

This edition promises to be thought-provoking, as it will explore three trending and urgent matters confronting Nigeria today.

The first major topic up for discussion is an assessment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s performance after two years in office.

Panelists will analyze the administration’s scorecard, highlight its achievements and failures, and reflect on its impact on the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

They will also examine whether the president’s policies have met the expectations set during his campaign.

The second issue to be dissected is the 2027 political permutations, with a special focus on the growing influence of the ADC-led coalition.

Participants will explore the strengths and weaknesses of the new coalition, possible alliances, and the chances it holds against the ruling party.

This segment is expected to feature robust analysis of the realignment of political interests and the mood of the electorate.

The third and final issue for the night is the deepening hunger, insecurity, and poverty in the country.

Speakers will debate what a potential Peter Obi presidency would do differently to address these long-standing problems.

This topic is of high public interest, especially as citizens continue to demand practical solutions to Nigeria’s worsening economic and security crises.

The event starts at 7:00 PM Nigeria time and will be accessible to the public via Zoom.
