4 Dead, 8 Injured During Rivers APC Presidential Rally

At least, four persons were confirmed dead at the main gate of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt after the presidential campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress [APC]n Rivers State on Tuesday.

It was learnt that the victims were trampled upon following a stampede at the stadium.

Several more that were injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention by available ambulances.

Reacting to the multiple deaths resulting from APC rallies, President Muhammadu Buhari has consoled the families of the victims.

President Buhari also regretted the Supreme Court decision that slammed the door shut for the ruling party in the state.
