4 Nasarawa university students abducted by gunmen

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped four female students of Nasarawa State University, Keffi—NSUK, in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The abducted students are Rahila Hanya (SLT 100 Level), Josephine Gershon (Computer Science 100 Level), Rosemary Samuel (Business Administration 100 Level), and Goodness Samuel (Geography 100 Level).

Their abduction was confirmed in a statement by the spokesman of the command in Nasarawa state, DSP Rahman Nansel.

According to Rahman, the gunmen stormed a house located at Angwan Kaare, Keffi, where the students were staying at about 12:55am.

“The police, in collaboration with the military, responded accordingly and combed the area, but to no avail

“The Commissioner of Police has ordered a manhunt for the culprits with a view to rescuing the four victims unhurt.”
