[Video]: Imo Police Exchange Gunfire With ESN Terror Network

Danger is seriously building up in Imo State as Nnamdi Kanu’s Eastern Security terror Network exchanged gun fire with the Nigerian police force in Orlu Local government of Imo State.

In a video obtained by ElombahNews, about three personnel of the illegal security organization was seen hovering around an abandoned police van and a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). One was heard on the background recounting how they engaged the men of the force in a fierce gun duel before they were unfortunately overpowered.

Moreover, the three members of the outlawed security network were clearly seen in the video parading AK47 Kalashnikov.

The one that recorded the incident with his mobile phone narrated how some officers of the Nigerian police force attacked them but were dealt a devastating blow by the group before they eventually abandoned their vehicles and ran away.

Recall that the fugitive leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu had announced to his dwindling audience on December that the security network was mainly created to tackle insecurity in the region and not for any other purpose.

However, the recent face-off with the men of the police force has rubbished the earlier statement of Kanu and IPOB that the outlawed security network is meant to tackle the rising insecurity in the southeast region.

A security expert who spoke with ElombahNews said that the government must take a decisive action to arrest the situation before Kanu will birth another terrorist organization that will end up compounding the security woes of the nation.

He said, “The governors of the Southeast must rise to the occasion of stopping this menace in the name of security network. Allowing Kanu to continue with this charade portends a grave danger to the peace and security of the people of the region.
