Concerned Ohanaeze stakeholders & PANPIEC to wade into Ohanaeze post-election impasse

Following the dissent and post-election crisis after Ohanaeze election in Owerri, some concerned accomplished Ohanaeze stakeholders and Pan Nigeria Presidency Of Igbo Extraction (PANPIEC) are to wade into the conflict.

The chairman of the group is Amb Chief Charles O. Okereke, Winner African Union Anthem Competition; Leadership Honouree – American Association of University Women (AAUW); Ambassador for Peace United Nations Universal Peace Federation (UPF); Poet & Composer – National/International Award Winning Anthems; Ohanaeze Chieftain/Publisher Masterweb. The group secretary is Chief Amaechi Okoli representing PANPIEC.

The group has key traditional rulers, religious leaders and elder statesmen in Igboland as members.

The complete membership will be announced in due course. The group will look into the remote and immediate causes of the post-election conflict with a view to resolving it.

Amb Chief Okereke noted the group would invite all contestants in the election and governors of Igbo states or their representatives. The event would take place in Umuahia, Abia State at a venue and time to be announced soon.
