A mother of three kids has committed suicide at Ogui Police Station located in Enugu State, Nigeria.

The woman reportedly ran into a moving vehicle and died instantly.

The reason, it was gathered, was that her husband left her and their three children due to financial challenges.

The incident reportedly happened last week in Enugu.

In the meantime, the deceased’s identity is still unknown.

She was reportedly suffering from depression.

The deceased abandoned her three young children at the police station, before the incident.

It was reported that she pulled her clothes, and ran naked into a moving vehicle, and was crushed to death.

When interrogated, the eldest of the children said their father “got lost.”

“She could not give any other information about their family, their town, or residential address”, a police source told the Nation.

The wife of Enugu State governor, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, paid a visit to the crime scene.

Mrs. Mbah announced a scholarship programme for the three children (under seven years) who lost their parents in mysterious ways.

The governor’s wife made the announcement when she paid the visit to the police station.

The children were still under the police custody when she arrived.

The visibly shaken Mrs. Mbah was moved by the story surrounding the death of the mother of the children.

She said she would take care of the children and train them from Nursery school to university level.
