Mourinho Ridiculed, Laments Chelsea’s defeat to West Ham

English Premiership flops this season, Chelsea have been ridiculed for publishing a somewhat partial account of their Premier League defeat to West Ham on Saturday.

The Blues, who had Nemanja Matic sent off and Jose Mourinho banished to the stands at Upton Park, managed to equalise with 10 men on the pitch and improved in the second half until Andy Carroll’s late goal secured the points for Slaven Bilic’s side.

Chelsea’s official match report appears to have raised an eyebrow at several incidents including Kurt Zouma’s non-goal – which was ruled out by goal-line technology.

Cruel circumstances is perhaps an exaggeration when you consider West Ham should have been at least 2-0 up by half-time.

Mourinho’s side can have no complaints about either decision as Zouma’s header was rightly adjudged not to have crossed the line by the Hawk-Eye system and Fabregas was offside, albeit by very little.
