The Forum of Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] former Speakers of state Houses of Assembly, led by Rt. Hon. Inuwa Garba, today met with the former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
Elombah.com gathered that the motive of the visit is to congratulate him on the victory of PDP at the Supreme Court and the fatherly role he played within.
During the visit, President Jonathan thanked the former Speakers & promised to work with all party stakeholders in the rebuilding process in PDP.
In another development, Bernhard Schlagheck, German Ambassador to Nigeria today paid a courtesy call on the PDP National Caretaker Committee.
His visit to the National Secretariat of the party is to seek more collaboration between the Republic of Germany and the party.
In yet another development, the PDP former Speakers also met with the former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel in Abuja to discuss salient party matters.
