Updated: Court adjourns Ekweremadu’s trial to August 4

The Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London, the United Kingdom has adjourned the trial of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.

During the trial today, David Ukpo told the court that he lied that he is a minor.

He also accepted the fact that he is 21 years of age.

However, the case was later adjourned to 4th of August 2022.

This means that Ekweremadu and his wife will remain in custody till 4th of August 2022.
