The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wouldn’t have won the just concluded Osun state governorship election if they did not engage in massive vote buying in Osun state, inside source informed Newsband.

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was declared governor-elect after winning 17 out of the 30 Local Government Areas of the state.

He defeated his closest rival, governor Gboyega Oyetola, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to emerge winner.

The election was held across the 30 local government areas of the state amid tight security with political parties adopting new methods of vote-buying.

The source authoritatively told Newsband that the Peoples Democratic Party in order to ensure their victory, paid each polling agent the sum of N20,000 while the All Progressive Congress paid 10,000.

Labour Party polling agents according to the source, threw away their tags just to collect money from PDP.

“PDP bought votes for 5k, and APC between 5-10k. LP bought nothing. But if PDP didn’t buy votes, they would have lost. True, some collected money from APC and voted PDP. Labour Party polling agents threw away their tags to collect money from PDP.

“I could say that i had at least 500 Labour Party strong followers in my Local Government, all were bought off. Only 9 voted Labour Party. If Obi’s presidential election is done in the same way, Obi would never be president. Our society is in deep shit.

“Labour Party shared 250,000 for each local government and payed nothing to polling agents.”
