Those behind destruction of Nigeria’s economy should be jailed for sabotage — Ben Bruce

The founder of Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce on Friday, said those behind the destruction of the nation’s economy should be jailed for economic sabotage.

His call is coming after the free fall of Naira to N710 to dollar at the parallel market, coupled with the scorching insecurity which has resulted to the killing and abduction of scores of innocent civilians across the nation.

Mr Bruce in a statement said that Nigeria has gotten to the point where businesses cannot plan because of one issue to another.

He also blamed the All Progressive Congress led administration, accusing them of round-tripping forex.

He said, “All those destroying our economy should go to jail for economic sabotage. We are currently at a point where businesses in Nigeria cannot plan. It’s either rising fuel/diesel costs, a free-falling Naira, or one issue to another. Meanwhile, people in power are either round-tripping forex or simply siphoning the same.”
