Unknown Gunmen have killed Chief Linus Nwatu, the President-General of Oruku community Town Union in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The hoodlums also reportedly killed eight others in the process.

A source, who disclosed the killing to News Band, said that the killing was close to home as he was killed at a burial.

The source also revealed that the Community has been having internal issues for sometime.

According to him, “the gunmen are not unknown; they are well known in the community. It’s more of a community clash ongoing.”

In the meantime, the hoodlums have also reportedly penciled down another six persons for massacre while the communal clash goes on.
