- An advocate for peace-building, Ayodeji Isarinde, on the occasion of 2022 International Day of Peace has called on individuals within the shore of Nigeria to live in tolerance, describing peace in practical term, as what cannot be substituted with any other variable.
Calling for more devotion to strengthening the ideals of peace within and among all nations and people, Mr Isarinde of the Nigerian Youths for Peace Initiative, emphasized the need to imbibe peace across religious, cultural, ethnic and political divides globally.
On the realities of violence and hate speech flying in the air , which could impair the forth coming electoral process in Nigeria, Mr. Isarinde who spoke with NewsBand correspondent, urged youths across the country to embrace peace and unity, while imploring them to shun the odious phenomenon of violence in the 2023 general election.
