The Court of Appeal has upheld the election of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District.

Commenting on the judgement of Appeal Court, Senator Adeola said:

“The Court of Appeal has upheld my election, putting a stop to the nonsense of losers wasting the Court’s time by filing unnecessary petitions and appeals after losing an election.”

That puts to rest the prolonged legal battle between Segun Adewale of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] and Senator Adeola of the All Progressives Congress [APC].
