Manchester City will play Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League after Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Real Madrid 4-0 on Wednesday, giving them an impressive 5-1 aggregate victory.

Bernardo Silva scored twice, before an own goal from Eder Militao and a late finish from Julian Alvarez.

City were better from start to finish
Dani Carvajal spoke to the media after the defeat

“They were the better team tonight from start to finish. They were superior, we were pushed back too quickly.

“When we stepped forward after half-time was our best period. We knew they were very strong at home, but we all thought we could play a better game than tonight.

“But in the end we just have to congratulate the rival who deserved to win, thank our fans who came here, and work hard to be back here again stronger next year.”
