Mr Nze Duru, the deputy national Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Monday confirmed the resignation of the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Mr Duru disclosed the resignation of Mr Adamu while speaking with newsmen in his office.
He also said that the National deputy chairman, Abubakar Kyari, will take over as the acting national chairman in line with the provisions of the party constitution.
He said, “One can confirm, yes, credible information that the chairman of the party has stepped down as the chairman of the party and meetings are currently ongoing.”
