BREAKING: NLC protesters lock down Lagos Assembly

The Lagos brand of organized labour unions, on Wednesday grounded activities at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Organised Labour unions embarked on a nationwide protest against what they described as “anti-people” policies of the President Bola Tinubu administration.

Recall that last week, the NLC had issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Federal Government and demanded “the immediate reversal of all anti-poor policies of the federal government including the recent hike in petrol price, increase in public school fees, the release of the eight months withheld salary of university lecturers and workers.
