Tinubu’s minister of tourism reportedly poisoned

President Bola Tinubu’s Minister of tourism, Mrs Lola Ade-John, has been reportedly hospitalized in Abuja after suffering from acute poisoning.

The Minister this medium gathered, was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Jabi after she started showing symptoms of poisoning.

Though, NewsBand could not independently verify what kind of poison broke the minister down.

But sources familiar with her health condition said that she had been at the facility for over four days.

It was reported that her worsening condition has caused a face-off between her family and the government regarding whether or not she should continue receiving medical attention at a public hospital or be moved to a better equipped private facility where she will be given adequate treatment.

The permanent secretary of her ministry, Ngozi Onwudike is said to have insisted that the Minister should not be transferred because the FMC was a public hospital and its services wouldn’t attract substantial charges to the government.

Meanwhile, her family according to a source rebuffed the position, but have remained with her at the FMC as they could not raise funds to move her to a private hospital.
