Justice Joseph Ikyegh of the Court of Appeal, Rivers State Division, in Port Harcourt has slumped and died.
News Band learnt that Justice Ikyegh was confirmed dead on Wednesday, December 6, at Benue State University Teaching Hospital.
Until his demise, he was the presiding judge of the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt.
Ikyegh was in the FJSC list that went to the National Judicial Council (NJC) but as a reserve nominee to Justice Baba Idris Kutigi, JCA.
His name, however , did not make the list of approved justices by NJC.
