A former Commissioner for Health in Nasarawa State, Dr Bawa Ahmed Abimiku is dead.
Mr Abimiku reportedly died after protracted illness. A family source said that he succumbed to his illness in the we hours of Tuesday, December 19, at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi.
During the late Alhaji (Dr.) Aliyu Akwe Doma’s government, he served as both a Commissioner and a Member of the State Executive Council (SEC), playing a pivotal role in the health sector.
Abimiku’s funeral will take place at the Abuja Central Mosque, Federal Capital Territory, at 2:00 pm according to Islamic custom.
