As a registered Democrat and a democrat, I would support Biden’s dropping out of the presidential race only if replaced by his VP Kamala Harris, otherwise we would be adding gender discrimination and racism to understandable ageism in this one case.
With a good campaign, any agile opponent would surely beat the criminal and dishonest Trump.
Even the fragile Biden could beat Trump, but I want Could to change to Must and Will, because the alternative will be fascist America..
So I am resigned to Biden stepping down within 72 hours, maybe earlier – the chorus is now too loud – and Kamala taking over his candidacy, with (say) Pritzker of Illinois her running mate. No further time to waste.
