Senator Ali Ndume, the lawmaker representing Borno South Senatorial district at the National Assembly has tackled Daniel Bwala, former spokesman of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, describing him as one without political relevance.
According to former Chief Whip of the Senate, Bwala is untrustworthy and only good in attacking political adversaries. He urged President Bola Tinubu to be wary of him.
Recall that Ndume and Bwala clashed over the senator’s criticism of Mr Tinubu.
Ndume had accused president Tinubu of limiting access to lawmakers and ministers amidst the current economic challenges facing Nigerians.
While speaking to newsmen at his residence in Maiduguri, Ndume said, “We have credible people in the Hawul local government area who know Daniel Bwala’s true nature. When I saw a message on his X handle, I initially thought it was from Inuwa Bwala, the former Caretaker Chairman of Hawul and a respected journalist. He confirmed it wasn’t him.
“Later, I realized it was Daniel Bwala, who holds no political relevance in Southern Borno.
“Bwala is merely seeking sympathy from Mr. President. He was once a member of the APC but defected to join Atiku Abubakar, where he began hurling all sorts of accusations and insults at Tinubu on live television. Bwala’s only talent lies in attacking people”.
