Police authorities have arrested a man involved in distributing Russian flags during the #EndBadGovernance protests in Kano State.
Many Nigerians were surprised after protesters on Saturday in Kano State, trooped to the streets with Russian flags, calling on president Vladimir Putin to intervene in the ongoing crisis in Nigeria.
On Monday, police in Kano apprehended a tailor identified as Ahmed, who was found with Russian flags.
Newsband gathered that Ahmed and other youths using the flags in protests have been taken into custody for interrogation.
