There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel as the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has officially announced that the Port-Harcourt Refinery in Rivers State has started crude oil processing.
The spokesman of the NNPCL, Femi Soneye disclosed this in a statement on it’s official X handle.
He said the refinery will operate at 60% capacity, processing 60,000 barrels per day (bpd).
