Security forces have reportedly crushed a notorious bandits’ kingpin known as Soja, who has tormented communities in Katsina and neighbouring states.
His killing was disclosed on Saturday by a security analyst, Bakatsine, via his official X handle.
he said Soja and several members of his criminal gang were killed by Nigerian troops following actionable intelligence about a planned attack.
“GOOD NEWS: Last night, bandits’ kingpin Soja and many of his followers were neutralized by troops in Katsina State, following intelligence on planned attacks by his groups,” the post read in part. “Earlier, CWC operatives rescued 10 women and recovered stolen cattle in Musawa LGA.”
Meanwhile, military authorities are yet to confirm the development in a statement.
