Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, former minister of education, has called on the President of the Nigerian Senate, Mr. Godswill Akpabio to submit yourself to a transparent process of independent investigation and fair hearing as demanded by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who accused him of sexual harassment.
She made the call in a post on her official Facebook page on Saturday.
She urged Akpabio to stop what she described as incompetent shenanigans and surreptitious tactics to divert public attention from what ought to be.
Ezekwesili in the post, further said all Akpabio’s actions and words since Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan accused him of sexually harassing her have been terribly contemptible and demeaning of our public institution.

“Do you know what is so much easier to do on the sexual harassment allegations of the Distinguished Senator @NatashaAkpoti against you?
“Submit yourself to a transparent process of Independent Investigation and Fair Hearing as demanded by your accuser.
“Stop all these incompetent shenanigans and surreptitious tactics to divert public attention on the matter.
“All your actions and words since Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan accused you, have been terribly contemptible and demeaning of our Public Institution- The Nigerian Senate.”
