Igbos Should Take The Ongoing Voters Registration Serious

..Ohanaeze president general Barr Nnia Nwodo states.

Igbos all over Nigeria have been called upon to take the ongoing voters registration exercise very serious .The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Barr Nnia Nwodo deployed the current lax attitude of Some Igbos to the exercise. He also called on INEC and the authorities to ensure that nothing hampers or pose an impediment to the exercise as its being reported in some places.

He noted that Ohanaeze Ndigbo has set up a high powered committee to monitor the exercise . 

In another vein the Igbo festival of arts and culture was held with fanfare in Stauton , Virginia , USA . Hundreds of Igbos from all over the world witnessed the event which showcased speeches, traditional dances, exhibitions and other side attractions.

The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Barr Nnia Nwodo was the Guest Speaker at the event . Earlier before the end of the event   , he had a town hall meeting with the attendees and organisers of the event.

It will be remembered that Ndigbo constitute one of the founding fathers of the USA as the English, Irish, Germans among others.

The President of the Igbo World Assembly , a first class Igbo Patriot Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze provided a fatherly piloting of the event which the Council of Igbos in the USA CISA brought into fruition.

The event is an annual one and is always memorable.

Furthermore Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership has re-iterated that Nigeria can never move forward unless it is restructured and built on equity , justice and fairness.
