President Muhammadu Buhari has, today, August 15, 2017, marked complete 100 Days since he left office as the president of Federal republic Nigeria.
Worse yet, there is no end in sight to his return to duty.
Furthermore, according to sources, over $30 million (equivalent of N11.4 billion) spent so far on President Buhari’s Medicare abroad.
Reacting to the outrageous bill accumulated on the Nigerian nation by the AWOL president, his media aide, Mr Femi Adesina reportedly said:
“I don’t know who is paying for Buhari’s medical bills.”
It could be recalled that the president left Nigeria to London on May 7, 2017, for continuation of his medical care.
Meanwhile, protest is raging in Abuja for the return or resign of the president
Ace musician, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy and his #OurMumuDonDo group were sighted at Wuse market, Abuja, demanding for the resignation of President Buhari?
Observers noted that Charly Boy’s choice of Wuse market might have arisen from the attack unleashed on the group at the National Assembly by the Nigerian Police which saw the musician cum activist faint.
The trending question for the full 100 days had always been: When will President Muhammadu Buhari return or resign?
It could be recalled that Buhari had promised to end medical tourism in one of his campaign promises.
He, however, ended up making history as the first president to mark 100 days in and out of office.
