[Ex-CG of Nigeria Customs, Dikko Abdullahi]
President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the resignation letter of the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service [NCS], Dikko Abdullahi.
Mr. Abdullahi tendered his resignation after mounting the saddle for six years on Monday morning.
As at news time, it was yet not clear the circumstances that led to his leaving office.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, he said he would like to be remembered as the “father of modern Nigeria Customs Service”.
President Buhari is yet to announce his successor.
