Heavily armed policemen Tuesday locked down Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s guest house located at Lugard Road, Nassarawa GRA, Kano.
The development was sequel to secret mass wedding of over 100 couples allegedly conducted by Kwankwasiyya foundation yesterday.
The residence popular known as Lugard Hall to city dwellers came under police action Tuesday following reports that Hundred of the affected couple were trooping into the residence to collect their gift.
In a reaction to the development, the KANO police Commissioner,Rabiu Yusuf through the command image maker DSP Magaji Musa Mania while confirming the seal explained that “we moved in to prevent illegal assembly “
No love lost
The cold war between Kano State governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and his predecessor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, had earlier this month degenerated to full blown hostility following the threat by the former to exposed the latter’s stewardship in office.
