Comedian Phronesis has got social media buzzing with a hilarious and affectionate parody imagining what Nigeria would look like if Mr Peter Obi became president. In the viral performance, Phronesis humorously suggests that Obi would practically function like an Accountant-General, carefully monitoring public funds and ensuring every kobo is accounted for because of his reputation for financial prudence and accountability. A motorist in Anambra State has raised concerns over the alleged impoundment of his vehicle by officials of the Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) after it reportedly developed an overheating problem. According to the motorist, he had pulled over and placed reflective warning triangles behind the vehicle to alert other road users while trying to fix the fault. However, he alleges that ARTMA officials still impounded the car and removed its battery before agreeing to take it to their office. Was ARTMA justified in its action, or should a motorist whose vehicle breaks down be given time to resolve the problem after taking safety precautions?
