In another development, the Managing Director of NPA, Ms Usman, has denied alleged plan by management to sack workers.

She spoke during a tour of Warri Port in Delta State.

Usman said rather than the NPA retrenching staff, management was set to recruit more staff.

She had tasked the General Manager, Human Resources, to work on succession plan of the organisation.

Usman said the management has introduced performance-based appraisal whereby every personnel would be appraised based on his or her performance.
