Senate on Tuesday kicked against the confirmation of 46 non career ambassadors because of 250 Petitions presented to Senate
President Muhammadu Buhari had in October sent the names of 46 nominees to the Senate as ambassadors.
However, Chairman of Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Monsurat Sumonu suggested that Senate should return the list of non-career ambassadors to Presidency for rejiging because non fewer than 250 Petitions were received against the nominees.
Some of them people that on the list of non career ambassadors were Usman Bugaje, Yusuf Tugar, Musa Ibeto, Senator Olorunimbe Mamora, Nurudeen Mohammed, Jamila Ahmadu-Suka, Suleiman Hassan, Musa Ibeto and Pauline Talen.
