The Independent national Electoral Commission [INEC] has apologised to the Nigerian Air Force [NAF] over the purported disruption of collation center in Rivers State by men believed to be its personnels.
INEC made the apology in a letter signed by its HOD, Voter Education and Publicity, Mr. Edwin Enabor, on behalf of the Rivers State Resident Electoral Commissioner [REC].
The electoral commission stated that the persons purported to have worn the Army uniforms were neither personnels of the service nor authorised by the service to be at INEC’s offices.
