ADC: Victory On November 8 Is Non-Negotiable

Ahead of the November 8, 2025, governorship election in Anambra State, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared that victory is non-negotiable for the party come election day.

In a bid to consolidate the existing momentum, admiration, and broad acceptability of Ndi Anambra for the joint candidacy of Mr. John Chuma Nwosu and Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu, the entire ADC leadership structure held a key strategic meeting on October 22, 2025.

The ADC governorship candidate, John Nwosu, held the strategic grassroots meeting with all Ward Chairmen, Local Government Chairmen, and Campaign Coordinators across the state.

The meeting, which took place at Ndi Ichie Hall in Awka, witnessed a significant turnout.

It covered 326 Ward Chairmen, 21 Local Government Chairmen, members of the campaign team.

It also included key functionaries in the JCN-GNN Campaign Organization.

In unity, they highlighted the strengths of the party across the state as well as areas that need improvement to ensure an overwhelming victory.

‘Victory for ADC is non-negotiable’

The meeting was presided over by Mr. John Chuma Nwosu, the ADC governorship candidate.

It concluded with an atmosphere of extreme cheerfulness and optimism from participants.

Reacting to the outcome of the meeting, Mr. Ikechukwu Augustine Obah, Mgboejiejeogu, said:

“Feedback from across the length and breadth of the state indicates that victory is non-negotiable come November 8.

“For the skeptics, every Onye Anambra has unanimously decided to end over 22 years of APGA rule on November 8 and replace it with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

“The party deemed formidable and committed to advancing our democratic ethos and development.”

Another attendee, who chose to spoke on condition of anonymity, disclosed that the tactic is “operation person-to-person”.

He said: “The focus is clear and unwavering: “Operation Person-to-Person or Nothing!”

“It’s a full mobilisation moment — building from the wards, energising the base, and taking the message of change directly to the people.”

Meanwhile, speaking about the person-to-person approach, Mr. Nwosu said on his “X” handle, @JohnCNwosu:

“We are reaching Anambra people close up: door-to-door, and person to person. Leaders should not be alien to the people..

He added: “Two men. One vision. One mission to move Anambra forward.

“Glad to have Dr. Ndubuisi Nwobu as my deputy in this journey of transformation.”
