Seplat Energy Equips Journalists To Improve Delta, Edo Reporting

(DDM) — Seplat Energy has successfully concluded an extensive training programme for 35 journalists from Delta and Edo states.

The initiative, held on Friday, 28 November 2025, took place simultaneously in Asaba, Delta State, and Benin City, Edo State, and aimed to enhance media professionals’ capacity to report accurately and insightfully on the energy sector.

According to DDM corespondent in warri, the programme was part of Seplat Energy’s ongoing commitment to promoting transparency, knowledge sharing, and professionalism in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

Officials from Seplat Energy explained that the training was designed to equip journalists with practical skills to better understand complex energy operations, regulatory frameworks, and reporting standards in the oil and gas industry.
