APC announces consensus candidate for Osun guber poll

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced Bola Oyebamiji, former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, as its consensus candidate for the 2026 Osun State governorship election.

This decision was made at the party’s governorship primary held at Ebunoluwa Group of Schools in Osogbo, where two aspirants, Kunle Adegoke (SAN) and Senator Babajide Omoworare, moved a motion endorsing Oyebamiji.

The motion was presented to party members by Governor Monday Okpebholo, Chairman of the APC Governorship Primary Committee, and was met with overwhelming approval from delegates.
