Labour Party Announces National Convention, Calls For Aspirants

(DDM) – The leadership of the Labour Party has formally notified members and stakeholders of its forthcoming National Convention.

The party’s National Executive Committee and National Working Committee jointly issued the notice to guide preparations ahead of the crucial gathering.

According to the announcement, all eligible and interested members who intend to contest for any party position are required to obtain the official Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

Aspirants have also been directed to carefully study the convention guidelines, eligibility criteria, and the approved fee schedule before proceeding.

The party emphasized that only duly completed forms submitted within the stipulated timeframe will be considered valid.

Officials explained that detailed information regarding collection centres and designated points for obtaining forms will be released soon.

The statement added that screening processes and other procedural requirements would be clearly outlined by the national secretariat.

Party members were urged to rely strictly on verified circulars and announcements from the national leadership to avoid misinformation.
