Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) confirmed that the student, Joy Ezeugwu, was suspended indefinitely after raising public concern over the state of the Uwani Health Centre in Enugu.
Joy, a student of Ezzy College of Nursing, reportedly shared a video highlighting the condition of the facility, sparking widespread reactions online.
The footage, now circulating on social media, allegedly showed a hospital operating in darkness without electricity, water supply, cleaners, or security presence.
Observers said the situation was particularly alarming as a patient was reportedly in labour during the time the video was recorded.
