DDM Academy Opens Registration For Cohort 8, Offers Tech Skills And Referral Incentives

AWKA, ANAMBRA STATE — Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) Academy has announced the launch of its Cohort 8 programme, aimed at equipping participants with high-income digital skills for global opportunities.

The academy disclosed that the new training cohort will commence on May 18, 2026, as part of efforts to prepare individuals for the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports that the programme will provide practical, hands-on training designed to position participants for employment, remote work, and entrepreneurship.

According to the organisers, the training covers a wide range of in-demand courses including frontend web development, backend web development, and fullstack development.

Other areas of focus include artificial intelligence and machine learning, virtual assistance, UI/UX design, and graphic design.

The academy also offers courses in digital and content marketing, cybersecurity, project management, data analysis, and video editing.

Participants will further have access to training in Microsoft Office suites as well as cryptocurrency and forex trading.

DDM Academy stated that the programme is structured to deliver flexible learning options for participants across different locations.

Online classes will allow students to learn from anywhere in the world, while onsite sessions will take place at the academy’s facility in Awka, Anambra State.

The institution added that accommodation will be made available for students who choose the onsite learning option.

In a bid to encourage wider participation, the academy introduced a referral incentive scheme for enrolled participants and the general public.

Under the scheme, individuals will earn ₦5,000 for every person they refer who successfully registers and completes payment for the programme.

The academy emphasized that referrers must ensure their name and phone number are included during the registration process of the referred candidate.

In addition, group registration discounts will be available for individuals or organisations sponsoring multiple participants.

The organisers noted that the initiative is designed to make skill acquisition more accessible while promoting collaborative learning.
