Singer and actress Kelly Rowland has shared a heartfelt insight into what has kept her marriage strong over the years, revealing that the foundation of their relationship is something refreshingly simple genuinely liking her partner.

The 45-year-old star has been married to talent manager Tim Weatherspoon since 2014, and the couple recently celebrated 12 years together. Speaking during a media chat, Rowland opened up about the dynamics of their relationship and what continues to make it work.

“I like him,” she said candidly. “I genuinely like him as a person. I think he’s a great man … so smart, and handsome, and he has great music taste, and he’s really good with our kids.”

Beyond romance, Rowland emphasised the importance of friendship and admiration in a lasting partnership, suggesting that emotional connection plays a major role in sustaining love over time.

The couple share two sons, Titan Jewell, 11, and Noah Jon, 5, and family remains a central part of their lives. Rowland recently brought both boys along on her Boy Is Mine Tour, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at her work as they watched her rehearse ahead of performances.

However, not everyone in the family was ready for the experience to end. Rowland revealed that her eldest son, Titan, was disappointed when the tour wrapped up, especially after missing out on the Forever Mine Music Festival in Chicago.

According to her, he has already started encouraging her to go back on tour, eager to be part of the experience again.
