CHICAGO, Illinois — The Italian American Executives of Transportation (IAET) has opened applications for its 2026 scholarship programme, offering financial support to students of Italian heritage who demonstrate financial need and are pursuing higher education in Illinois.

The scholarship is designed to promote educational achievement, preserve Italian-American culture, and provide charitable assistance to deserving students. Applicants selected for the scholarship are expected to participate in the organisation’s annual Dinner Dance ceremony and fulfil certain attendance and presentation requirements. Scholarship amounts and the number of recipients vary each year.

The scholarship is available to high school seniors and college freshmen enrolled in any academic discipline at an accredited institution. There are no restrictions on the field of study, making the opportunity accessible to students across all academic interests.
