Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli has paid an emotional tribute to late actor Alexx Ekubo following his burial in his hometown in Arochukwu, Abia State.
In a heartfelt message, the actress reflected on their long-standing friendship, revealing plans to honour his memory through one of their shared projects.
According to her, she will be releasing the movie The First Lady, a film she described as the beginning of their close bond over a decade ago.
“Today we finally laid our bestie, Alexx Ekubo, to rest in his hometown in Abia State. In honour of his memory, I will be releasing ‘The First Lady’, a movie that started this whole friendship 11–12 years ago. The whole proceeds will go to his family. Alex poured his whole heart into that movie and gave it his all,” she said.
