The Abia State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has filed an Appeal at the Supreme Court challenging the judgment of the Court of Appeal on the Abia Governorship case.
The Supreme Court has until March 2, 2016 to decide the matter in line with the Electoral Act (As Ammended).
Attached is the Notice of Appeal.
Kindly note that as of this moment, we are yet to receive the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the Appeal Court Judgment 5 clear days after the Judgment was given in a time-bound matter.
We only filed our Appeal to the Supreme Court based on what was heard in Court.
We will file additional grounds where necessary upon receipt and further study of the CTC of the Appeal Court Judgment.
